Depends on the bear densities where you are hunting.. Ups and downs to every method. ie:
baiting - lots of work, bear could be only hitting bait at night
spot and stalk - if you aren't in a high density area forget it
hounds - probably have to pay someone or know someone that hunts with them
They are fun animals to hunt, but like I said depends where you are planning on going as to what style on hunt suits you.
