I didn't have much chance to get on the computer in the aftermath. Also, it was a spike and I didn't want to start a "antlers vs. meat"/QDM/Big bucks only controversy.

Here's the details: I took him last Friday in the evening. I was set up 50 yards above a draw the deer use to run the woods. I saw a deer come running along the far hillside that turned and came towards me. I suspected a young buck, and I expected him to blow by me, but he stopped 20 yards away. It was too easy a shot to pass up, so the .30-06 got some work.
