I sat in my stand on the South Platt River this morning. I had a doe and a fawn sneak in behind me. I actually had the fawn less than five yards to my right. She was there for about thirty minutes. I couldn't move. Eventually I was busted as I tried to stand up for a shot at mom. I am finally convinced! There are white-tailed deer in Colorado. I'll be back after them on Saturday.
