RE: Fertilizing Food Plots
I can' t really comment on the fertilizer however I have personally done the " taste test" myself. Clover growing in soil with a higher pH level will have a sweeter taste and clover in a lower pH soil will be slightly bitter. I must have seen the same show as JKT and had to try it. I have two food plots, both with ladino clover. The plot with an ideal pH level (6.5) had a sweet taste while the other with a 5.0 pH level did seem bitter. When I saw that show I kind of thought it was BS but now..........
