I don't know about that, bigbulls. Decent camera tripods can be bought for under $30, and the "V" adapter costs $10. Add shipping and you've got a shooting tripod for under $50. The cheapest dedicated shooting tripod starts at about $70 and goes up from there. I think that this discovery is worth looking into, especially since I already have a tripod.
