Have you tried a different brand of shells or bullet weight? Some rifles shoot different brand shells better. I have a .35 Remington and if I try to shoot 180 grain in it the gun is not very accurate, but if I use 200 grain it is really accurate. We have a couple of the NEF rifles and never had a problem with them. They are good little guns that get tossed in a truck and bounced around and still shoot good.
