Default New Bow for a Old Man

I've been bowhunting with a crossbow for the past 6 yrs. do to a shoulder injury. This past weekend I pulled a youth bow back this weekend set at 42 lb. without much pain. So I think there's a chance that I can go back to Deer hunting with a compound if I can find one that is in the 40 to 50 lb. I'm looking for one that is a step up from the starter bows that come in that weight range. Most of the better bows seem to be in the 50 to 60 and 60 to 70 lb range. I'm really excited about the idea of hunting with a bow again if I can find the right bow. Any advice would be a great help.
