Here's a twist to add..these 2 bucks have been running together consistently since AT LEAST 2007. Through trail camera pics it's clear that the tall racked 7pt is dominant, and has been the entire time (note the ripped ear of the 9pt in '08-'09). The area is extremely overpopulated causing the dominant buck to experience breeding related stress (he dropped his antlers in late december, several weers prior then the previous year). That's why antler wise he peaked at 4.5 as a 110-115" 7pt. This year I believe both bucks are 5.5. The clear and unchallenged dominance of the 7pt since '07 (at that time 8pt) tells me they were likely the same age. I've attached a few more photos...
