Dnk here, aka 'Boo' makes and sells Flemish type strings for Excals and serves them on. I believe they go inbetween the strands or bundles or what ever they are called, first. Not sure about endless loop types like on compound xbows.
His are my only experience w/ silencers, but have read a gazillion times if they aren't served on they fly off eventually. Good luck!
