Default The Other Gold Dot

Over the last few years I've shot close toa thousand 250 and 300 grain .452 Gold Dot hollow points - mostly 300s.

Now for the first time I've acquired a couple of boxes of the 44 caliber (.429) 270 grain Gold Dot soft points and some HarvesterH5044Ggreen sabots to pair them with. These are nice looking bullets. They have a 1/4" flat point where the lead isexposed, but the jacket goesall the way up to the edge of the flat area. I'll be trying them in my next range session with the Mustang and X7.

I kind of like the idea of the 270 grain weight. Have any of you guys used these? I'm especially interested to find out if they expand and hold togetherthe same way the hollow points do.
