Well, back from KS. Killed a HOSS, Inch and 5/16 spurs and guess what... 3 beards! No bs! His beards were not as long as the ones we killed in oklahoma but he was a heaver bird with much better spurs. The spurs were "broomed" (sheep term for worn down, dont know if its the same for turkeys
) and still that long. I will post pics when I get a chance. By my calculation he will be in the 75 ish range.
This has been the best turkey season of my life! Kansas is a place like no other thats for sure, but Oklahoma treated me well this year!
