You may be interested in knowing that I worked for several years in the Firefighters Regional Burn Center in Memphis. I am a clinical pharmacist by training and played a role in the medical management of our burn victims. That was a veryspecial time for me, both personally and professionally. It was rewarding to see people with major burns survive and leave the facility to go hometo their families because not many years ago they would not have been able to survive their injuries without the sophisticated care provided in a dedicated burn center. Very dedicated people work there and theytake their job very seriously. It was humbling to be a part of that.

I got to know the firefighters and, believe me, I have the utmost respect for them and the job they do.
