Just making hay while the sun is shining brother

I had another one at 25-30 yards for doall Saturday morning. Gobbled his fool head off and weswitched position twice on him and finally got where he wanted to go. I was abiout 15-20 yards behindPeter calling and the turkey was coming straight from in front of him through some rough stuff (great situation). I knew the turkey would come up to Peter's left (it was really thick to the right) but I couldn't tell him unfortunately. Sure enough, the turkey started moving to our left. When he could see the bird he finally realized he didn't have his gun on him. Peter said the turkey was behind a tree when he moved the gun but the trees were small and all I saw was the turkey run his head up, looked straight at Peter, then he putted and ran off. Oh well -he'slearning. That's why it's called hunting.
