It's easy to tell the people who have no concept of coon hunting and what could happen. These are the people who should not even be posting in this thread.
You have about zero control over where that dog is going to end the track he is on. ZERO!!!!! This is what we call coon hunting. Now, I will explain to a couple of you guys about bird hunting. They are in your sight at all times and can be called back at will. They are not tracking a running animal. Take the time to educate yourself on coon hunting before you make a completely idiotic post as BBD has done every time he types.
BetterBirddogs sure sounds tough on his computer. He loves to shoot your dogs. A real class act. I noticed how you avoided my question though. So, I will ask again. What do you say to the guy that shoots your dog right in front of you for tresspassing. Please tell us.
Are you really arguing that you have ZERO!!!! control as a
mitigation to your actions?
IfI shoot at a skylined animal, I have zero control over where the bullet goes if I miss or if it passes through.
Thats why I don't do shoot at skylined animals. I don't sit around and say "my bullet doesn't read property signs," or "deer don't always provide a backstop." I conduct my hunting in a way that isn't a nuisance or a danger to the people around me.
