Default RE: Whisker biscuit question

I was a skeptic at first , but after using a WB , it' s hard to argue with the results.

Noise- Depends on the shaft your using. Smoother shafts will be quieter than rougher shafts(that goes for most rests)

Blocking your field of view during a shot- [8D]

Heat/Britle wiskers- haven' t seen that yet. And the Wisker Bisket is made to have a loose fit around your arrow.......it' s not supposed to be tight around it.

It is a little tough on fletchings, but by following advise on this board that problem is irrelevant to me now. I use feathers w/a helical ....making sure they are applied well and I put a dab of fletch tite on the front/back of each fletching. Minimal wear on fletchings now !!

How good does it hold an arrow......the best !! You can slam your arrow back as you draw your bow and your arrow will not fall off. You can bump a limb and it' ll stay. You can have your bow in your lap and jump up to take a shot.....and your ready to go.

The WB is also the easiest rest I have ever tuned .

My biggest problem was worrying about accuracy. Well I found out that you can be as accurate with the WB as any rest. Recently I have been getting 1.5-2" groups at 40 yrds and avaraging 5" groups at 60 .

Good Luck!! I recently tried a drop away for my Mathews LX but traded it back in for a Deluxe QS bisket !! Hard to beat it !!
