Default .270/Mule deer

I am going to eastern Colorado on a mule deer hunt this fall and I am planning on using my old trusty .270 w/ 130 grain bullets. In the past I have always used the remington core-lok bullets mainly for economics & they appeared to perform well on the range & in the field. Also I generally have never shot past 100 yds around here as I hunt areas where visiblity is limited. Would I be well advised to invest in an upgraded load such as the nosler partition or sierra bow tail? Any thoughts?
