Well you are going to pay $220 more for that Zeiss.. and that is over the VX3. You can get the VXIII for even cheaper. I can't say which one is better because I don't have personal experience with both. I do own the VX3 4.5-14 but I haven't got my rifle yet so I have not tested it too much yet. My guess is that you will love whichever one you get and you will have many years of success with either one. I wouldn't get too worked up over which one is better, from what I have read while doing my research is that they are very close. Zeiss may have better glass, Leupold may have better customer service.. you can spin your head for days, and then as soon as you think you have the one picked out, you hear something else that makes you second guess yourself. I say flip a coin.. you will be happy either way.
