Default RE: Cooper Arms of Montana sold

This is good news. I was understandably P.O.'d when I heard that Dan Cooper had sold gun owners down the river by supporting Obama with both his voice and his checkbook, and I vowed not to buy a Cooper rifle unless he separated himself from the company. I guess the board of directors realised that as long as Dan Cooper was officially afflilliated with the company, the brand name was mud. I will say one thing, Dan Cooper supported Obama, and then he certainly got some "change" out of the deal... a change in employment status. I guess Cooper's job isn't one of the 3 million Obama claims the so-called "stimulus" bill with "create or save."[8D]

Actions have consequences, and Dan Cooper bet on the wrong horse.

As for Cooper rifles, I am pleased to say that I would again be happy to purchase one of Coopers very fine rifles. They are the creme de la creme of factory production rifles. I just hope the new owner understands what he's got and doesn't fix the company until it's broken like so often happens with buyouts.
