Default RE: Taurus 92/99 vs Beretta fs 92

My Taurus PT92 is an excellent shooting pistol...and I like the cocked and locked feature available with its frame mounted safety.

The Beretta M9 / 92FS is an excellent and highly reliable pistol...the safety / decock lever is a little harder for me to reach easily.

One word of caution, however...the first Taurus PT-92 I purchased had a couple of bad parts installed...the ambidexturous safety lever on the right side broke off after firing a clip full of 115 grain CorBon personal defense...looked like a cheap part. Second one has not given me any problems at all.

For reference...I normally carry a Colt Combat Commander .45 ACP with 185 grain Golden Saber + P loads.
