Personally I would not do it. And I also doubt if the over all finish could be made even. A stainless barrel is supposed to "stain less" so I think it would not take to a blue or browning process very well. I think you might be able to black ice one. But I like the look of a stainless barrel actually.
That is kinda what i figured. I like the stainless look also ,I have several inlines with stainless barrels. The only reason I was contemplating it was because the T/C hawken that I
got has a blued barrel. The extra Green Mountain barrels that I bought are also blued. Then when I finally located a 45 cal 1:28 twist for it i find out that the only way I can get it is in stainless. I like the idea of the stainless but thought it looked more out of place on the Hawken, If you know what I mean. Especially since the other barrels are all blued. Any way just a thought
