I was having a hard time making up my mind on a new rifle, but it seems Savage may have eleminated my choices!
I have wanted a 7MM-08 for some time now, but having a .308 and 7MM Rem. magnum already, I have started looking at the .260 and the 25-06.
I want a heavy barreled, Tactical/long-range rifle for varmint and deer hunting.
My choices were a 110 Tactical, it had the caliber I wanted, the .260.
The other was the 112 BVSS. That is the rifle I really liked, but it did not come in .260, the best I could do was the 25-06.
I just went to Savage' s web site and it seems they have dropped the 110 Tactical and the .260 and 7MM-08 altogether!
So it appears that they have narrowed my choices for me!
112 BVSS, 25-06!
What are your thoughts on the rifle and the caliber?
Anyone know why they dropped the .260 and 7MM-08?
