I don't think Vital Gear can be matched for brightness, but most will tell you HHA for single pins. Both are great and bright.
I asked the same question before hunting season, as I needed to upgrade my sight for low light conditions...

I hunt a lot of swamp edges, which is thick, and low light comes quicker in this environment.
I had a total of about 3 different choices that I liked from the recommendations.
Vital Gear single pin is what I settled on and love it.
