I agree windwalker. I have no fear of a dnr/dcnr type system. That is what is in place in nearly every state across the country, yet Pa is the worst managed and has the highest level of hunter disgust BY FAR. Pa has the independent designation, but they are far from it and corrupt as all get-out. At least in an OPEN state run system the agency IS accountable to the people andsome obtuse small group like Audubon cannothavethe first and last word in wildlife management on a statewide basis just becausea couple of their cronyidiots managed to land commissioner seasts.
