I am new to hunting and am looking at going to Green Swamp (West) the weekend after christmas.

I have my residential hunting license and have a few questions.

1. I have been reading up on season dates, and cannot determine if I can even hunt Hog during that weekend.
2. I believe I need an additional permit to hunt at Green Swamp?
I dont think green swamp west will even be open the weekend after christmas. There is a hunt there the weekend after new years. But you need a permit to hunt there. You can hunt green swamp (east) that weekend if you want. You can get permits for green swamp at the gate.good luck
