Another problem I see with your info btb, its badly aged data on that webpage. It sites our TOTAL license sales of resident and nonresident combined as 1,044,000. Last time our sales were anywhere resembling that number was back in 2001. When we sold 1,047,820. We dropped like a rock ever since, and that number is a FAR cry from the 924,448 we sold last year. LInk to pgc license sales clearlydepicting the freefall: http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/pgc/cwp/view.asp?a=460&q=159015

and to answer your question I'll address with questions of my own. Does it HAVE to be doomsday before someone says enough unwarrented slaughter is enough? Is double the national average hunter decline not enough? Must we go 4-5 times that before warranting concern? Need we hear 1500 MORE lies and unfulfilled predictions? I dont think so. Also, I dont think pgc can do ANYTHING to thouroughly end all hunters desire to hunt. That doesnt mean things couldnt be a whole helluva lot better than they are. Id say most have had enough ofnonhunter friendly boc members getting hand picked by dcnr and crew, andcatering to ecoweiners.
