I would not put a longer string and cable on your bow it might end up slowing your bow down. This will take some stress out of your limbs and they will not work up to there full performance. If anything try twisting the cables and the string and putting slightly more stress on your limbs this will increase your brace height and add a few more pounds to your draw weight but it should make the bow a little faster.
