I will look when I get home from work but I am almost sure the barrel is stamped 3-1/2". That is my question. The engineer in me says what lightfield says makes sense. But this is not the norm for most hunters. Why? and what should I do?
I honestly don't think that extra space before the rifling starts will make a bit of difference in hunting accuracy, that is if there indeed is 3 1/2" before the rifling starts. I wouldn't worry about this in the least. If you aim as you are supposed to at your deer, he will be yours!
