Picked up this CVA sidelock Hawken Rifle with a 50 and 54 barrel for $100 Wed night, got two boxes of round balls (for the 54), a short starter and a possibles bag along with it. Anyone know the twist on these barrels?There was not manyround ballsmissing from the 54, so I don'tthink it was shot much. I wanna shootGoex in it, what is a good load for the 50? For the .54? Oh, I wanna covert the .54 over to Flintlock, for Penna flintlock season, what is a good source of CVA locks?
