I have 29" arrows and a 29" DL...i cut them like this on purpose....having that BH too far back really makes me nervous as I tent to leave my index finger limply extended out most of the time, I can just imagine the day one of those puppies just slices right through my unexpecting finger.[:-]

Mine oddly spine better at this length than any other, perhaps 1/4" might help one way or the other, but im not messing with something that is performing well.
