Default RE: Where is Semi?

TNHagies

I don't have a chrono, doyou think 110g 777 2f would get it up to 2300 fps?
I shot them with the 110 grains and they really stayed together for me... Just checked my ballistic sheet... 110 grains was giving me an average of 2100 fps with the XTP's - thought I had some pictures of recovered XTP's from the clay water bar - but can not find them. I do remember i did not get one that shed it's copper - because the 250 and the 300 did.

[quoteDo you think it'd come apart w/30-40 yard shots with it being pushed that hot? ][/quote]

See that is the problem I really think they should not and according to the Hornady site they are not meant to be shot that fast at all but I could not get them to blow up shooting in soft material.... now a solid hit on a bone - you know I still think they might hold up... BUT I am really sure the GD's will do a better job.

Wish I had know about "allen" when I ordered this morning - but no mattr I am anxios for them to get here now. I never ordered any before because the Regular MMP blue 40/50's work well in everything I have except the White - where they work OK but I know I am loosing velcity...
