Happens to most everybody, especially bow hunters.
Post the proof to this.
Every gunhunter I know has lost one - many more then one.
I found 3 deer on my lease last year with gunshots - courtesy of the fine shooting of my neighbors.
Speaking for myself, I havent lost one deer, nor my sons out of maybe a 100 to a gunshot, but I have lost 4 to my bow.
The reason I tell this story is because it was a perfect hit.
Its nearly impossible for aperfect hit deer with a sharp broadheadto go a mile.
A perfect hit mbeing a low to mid double lung or heart shot.
I agree, a deer double lunged with a broad will not go far at all, 40 yds on average. Everytime I get one with my bow I am like wow! those broadheads lay the smack down on deer. With a good shot of course.
