RE: Summit Cobra XLS how good ist it?
i hav one ive had it for probably 2-3 years now and i love it, its light weight and comfortable to sit in and its been sat in aloooot so i know its comfortable you just have to do some fine tuneing with all the adjustment straps till you get it the way you like it then your set it climbs pretty quiet quieter then most of my friends stands the shrink tubeing they put over the cables is peeling in a few spots but from what the instructions say its not a problem and if i want i can order more tubeing from them and its a real sturdy stand to i feel safe standing on the platform and all my only compalints are i wish it had some sort of handles or grips to hold on to on the seat part for when your climbing up the tree you have to kind of grip the armrest and all its kind of aquard and a little uncomfortable nothing bad ive gotten use to it but i just think it would be a little easier with some sort of handle sticking out the ends and problem #2 they may have fixed by now is the safety belt they included with the stand its nothing more then a giant nylon belt you loop it around the tree and you loop it around your waist i supose it would work just fine if you fell but it would probably hurt alot to since its just around your waist but new safty straps are cheap so thats no major problem either but its really is a nice stand and im very happy with it and i would be happy to recommend it to anyone
