For me, none of those spots looked appealing unless there was thick cover around. I would look for something a bit less in the open.
Here is an example of a spot I was at over the weekend on public land. Filled with acorns and is a tiny open area surrounded by nice thick cover.

Picture is with a camera phone so keep that in mind. Sat for a couple hours and saw 4 doe. One of them came back 4 different times to eat and snoop around.
