Default RE: Minimum North American Rifle Battery

I envy those who have their battery built to their satisfaction -- it' s a pain in the neck if its not. I' m in the midst of an overhaul personally. [:@]

Of the 4+1 (bear) battery I mentioned earlier (22LR, 22-250, 7mmRemMag, 338WinMag, + 416 Rigby), I have some and some I don' t; however, I' m working on liquidating some of my less desirable stuff and adding in the " missing pieces" to my rack.

I just got my " much planned for" 416 Rigby in this week -- what a horse -- that dog definitely hunts! I picked it up used but in near new condition, plus the seller threw in the reloading supplies (bullets, casings, and dies) for a sweet price. Looks like the " upper end" of my rack is now anchored.

I bought the 416 Rigby on GunBroker.com which was my first internet buy. It went smooth as glass. I' ve since sold a rifle on the same site, again smooth as glass with decent pricing and no middle man! This lets my " sell dollars" and my " buy dollars" come out near even -- something I could never do if selling wholesale and buying retail thru gun shops.

If you are thinking of " swapping" some stuff out, then you might consider it -- read all the rules, anticipate where mischief COULD take place, and follow some items that actually interest you as if you were going to buy and see how the auctions play out before just " jumping in." I think it is a valuable resource! [8D]

Now, to go to work on picking up a good 7mmRemMag.... lets see, what should I get rid of, maybe my childhood .270 (hasn' t been a fav since I bought my first 338WinMag at age 23) or maybe the 6mm varmit rifle -- decisions, decisions.

Never Go Undergunned,
EKM
