I've never heard of an adult shooting an arrow that short. You are probably going to need a 600 series arrow to spine properly if you cut it to 22". You could also use a 500 series arrow at 24", or a 400 series arrow at 26". 400's are a lot easier to find. The Easton Excel or Epic are very good arrows for the money.
