Default RE: Soft Yoke On Cables

Lady Forge, I don' t know but it couldn' t hurt especially if someone who laser tunes feels it does. Any bow should be able to have a soft yoke, just measure the length of the split and subtract from the total length to give you the length of the buss cable (Hoyt has a 6" leg -12" total length of the soft yoke- so my bow takes a 40 1/2" split yoke=34 1/2 " buss cable plus 6" -12" folded in 1/2- soft yoke). It sounds good that an unserved soft yoke will allow self centering but if I remember right (and this has been 4 years last I tried it) it didn' t work right. Anyway back then Hoyt was telling the dealer from the shop I helped at to serve them. Won' t hurt to try it, you' ll just be out the cost of the cable (if you have someone you know who makes them then it should cost alot less). Good luck and let me know if it does work. I guess I could cut off the serving on mine but I have it twisted so it is centered and don' t think I' ll try yet.
