Cabela'sare overpriced. Very few can compete with Walmart due to the volume pricing they receive. There are 6-8 Walmart stores in a 50 mile radius where I live. They all used to sell guns but only 1 now sells guns. This has given the smaller sporting stores some relief. I now use the internet to shop for near 100% of all my hunting needs. Hell, I even buy my hunting licenses online now. [align=right]

Like I posted before guy the guy that works at a Super Walmart in my town said that starting january all stores stop carrying guns. I don't recall if he mentioned ammo in the same sentence.
Why would Cabelas want to compete with a Walmart? Can you walk into a Walmart with unlimited cash and walk out with the rifle/scope, clothing and any equipment needed to hunt NA,Africa anywhere? You pay for that privilege though thru higher prices but the stores apparently are well stocked.
