RE: Heavy 30-06 loads
B-22, I agree that there are gonna be very few situations where a 250gr 30cal bullet will be a better choice than a 180 or 168, but he might have his own reasons for wanting to try them. I recently loaded some 220gr Sierra RN'sfor a 30-40 krag, knowing full well that the 180gr would have been a better performer. I just wanted the original loading 30-40-220.
If Crew was asking aboutthe 250gr'sperformance on deer or even elksized game, by all means he should be directed towards a different bullet. But he seemed to want to try them for whatever reason and was just looking for loading info.
