In my view, I think the LX and VFT compare more favorably, as would the Legacy and Patriot SC. Brace height alone though doesn' t make a forgiving bow necessarily. For example, my intent when I purchase the VFT was to purchase a Patriot Dual Cam ( almost 8" BH), but upon shooting them side-by-side, I found the VFT just felt better on the ' valley' side of the draw, and that' s more important to me for bowhunting.

The moral of the story: Shoot alot of bows, then make your decision as to what' s best for your needs. In my search, I shot Bowtech (VFT, Patriot DC and SC, Mighty Mite), Hoyt (Razortec, Havotec), Matthews Legacy (LX wasn' t available when I purchased), and PSE Nitro. I bought the VFT and in my view, the Hoyt Razortec was a close second
