I have never gone onto the property other than the homestead, because until today I had never met the owner. I know in the yard, there is an oak tree that has to be a couple of hundred years old. Everything east of the old house is pretty much oak too. I have also seen hedge apple trees on the property from the road. The neighbor to the East says that down on the creek bottom the thickets are so thick that you cannot walk through them. If you are really interested, I could get permission from the owner to go over and videotape what I can get to.
