RE: Best Method for sighting in rifle??
Laser Bore sighter is worth it's weight in gold. A guy had one where we were hunting in WI afew years back that saved our trip. My buddy missed a deer opening morning, didn't have the opportunity to fire some shots to see if it was the scope. A guy at our lodge offered us that laser bore sighter and we saw that his gun was about 14 inches off at 50 yards! Zero'd it in with the laser and next day it was dead on at 100 yards! He killed a deer later that night! I'd buy one of those, zero it in the way they tell you then hit the range and see how it shoots. It will save you the money in ammo and time you would have had to spend figuring out your patterns. Don't use this as a substitute for practice, but it is a good way to get your rifle on target.
