My ML is a TC Arms Pro Hunter and I bought the Nikon Omega in APG along with mount (ring's attached to the mount...i.e., non-weaver, non-Leupold, etc). I think it's a Talley, but I'm not too sure.
I don't know if you'll have the same problem I have, but the extended eye relief for the Omega scope is about 5" vice the normal 3" of a normal scope. It's supposed to protect you against magnum load kick of the rifle and protect your forehead, but I find that I have to move my cheek back to the rear of the comb to a point that it is most uncomfortable to shoot, especially offhand.
I started searching recently and ran across the DNZProducts.com website and found a great scope/ring mount system to move the scope up a few inches forward to return my cheek to the correct position on the comb. Here's the link:

The mount comes in a medium and low mount:

(10014C = Low)

(10016C = Med)
The price for the mount isn't that cheap $71.95), but I'm sure it'll help move the scope forward enough to satisfy my needs. I'll repost later, once I get the new mount, and let you know if it solves my problem. FYI, the Talley scope mount is about $65.00 at Cabelas.
