I amaware of the air affecting trajectory. the issue I"m talking about is the effect of temperature on the "muzzle" velocity.

I expect the limbs to be softer at higher temps (like any material would be), so they hold less energy. What I don't know, is wheather this effect is neglegable or not (say, more than 3" drop at 40')

I couldnt get conclusive test results myself. I hope someone knows more.
