I would go Crossfire because I can't stand the tip on the Nitron. Looks dull.
how could you say one is dull but the other isnt? they look like the same tip to me pretty much.
On the Nitron the tip is "rounded" on the sides, whereas the Crossfire has "grooves" inside the tip. I've seen both in person, but haven't been able to take any out of the box.
I would think thosedimples along with "spin tabs" would cause drag and friction, slowing your arrow down, espically upon impact. I think a 3 blade Muzzy or Monotec would be a better choice.
The dimples do the exact opposite and reduce drag. I have chronoed the NAP Crossfire and it shoots as fast as my fieldpoints. To prove the dimple theory look at a golf ball, the dimples are there to reduce drag on the ball and allows it to fly better. I have used NAP crossfires for 3-4 seasons now and have nothing but positive things to say.
