Here is how you get them to open in flight. Put them in you quiver, take them out and don't check the blade, and then shoot.....Now I take them out of the quiver, make sure they are snapped in tight and then kill deer with them. They work great when properly handled, but like everything else in this world if they are mishandled you get bad results. The deer wher I hunt in Texas are not that big bodied but my biggest problem is finding the arrow after it blows though the deer.
