Hog....we have so many gophers (groundhogs) out west that they are having derby' s to weed them out. Saskatchewan is really bad, Alberta is just starting this year. You would be hard pressed to find a farmer out here who wouldn' t let you shoot the little buggers. Oddly enough, it is fun for the family! I shot my first gun and bow at gophers. All be it not a 22-250, but a .22 none the less, and I was taught gun safety that way. It lets you practice your shooting style also and let' s you shoot a lot in the off season. They can really get out of hand in crop fields as well. So if you get a chance, try it....you just might love it. I do
