chuck-fiberglass resin mixed and painted over the leaky rivet or seam will seal it also. just don't use an expensive brush, as it will be ruined. and they also make an aluminum rod you can braze the repair with using a propane torch- done that on my 12 ft. john boat with success also. just clean it well before brazing, and i painted it with aluminum primer and green auto paint to match. good luck, and keep catching those monsters--Bill
