I agree with NJbowman. Too many deer per square mile is not healthy for the deer or the rest of the enviorment. There is also a much greater risk of disease (CWD) in highly overpopulated areas.

The reason the NJ DF&W did not propose a charge for bear tags is the anti' s would jump all over that and say the only reason for the hunt is to generate money for the Division. Rest assured, if the bear hunt continues I' m sure there will be a charge.
