They put on that much wieght, that quickly ?? I mean, I know they "fatten up" for hibernation...but 60lbs in 4 or 5 months ?
Not a dought in my mind unless the berry crop and other vegetation is terrible otherwise they'll put it on with out a problem. The last month or so before they hibernate they really rack up the pounds getting ready for hibernation.
