Default RE: Wife/Girlfriend hunting partners?? Why? Who?

I do enjoy sitting out with my wife during gun season, she is the primary shooter and I am there to provide a follow up shot if needed, in theory (we both missed this last season[:@]won't bore ya'll with the litany of excuses)

She has lately taken up her bow with the idea that maybe she can get good enough (read strong enough) to try her hand at bow hunting this fall, and if not this year maybe next year.

I say great, but this is also not gun season, she will have to learn to hunt on herown and figure out what does and doesn't work, before I met her she did gun hunt alone,so this isvery achievable.

I may even sit with her a couple times at the begining of the season, or set up near-by to watch, but after that she is on her own, isn't that part of the draw of archery? Thestillness, the silence, the alertness that are all needed for deer huntingbut more so with a bow inyour hand.....
